Cang Sean Mai
Mr. Mai is a trailblazing entrepreneur in Vietnam’s technology historical development. It is only fitting that he now occupies the Business Development Manager role at one of the world’s leading technology company, Intel.
His career in Vietnam began after he obtained B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois, focusing on process automation. Soon after, Mr. Mai returned to Vietnam and was one of the founders of Paragon Solutions and became its Country Manager in the early 1990s. Paragon Solutions was one of the first outsourcing companies in Vietnam. He later co-founded Vietnam.com , an e-commerce and online travel company then transitioned back into the outsourcing business when he co-founded and became the Managing Director of Pyramid Software Development, the Vietnam subsidiary of a US company. He was recruited away to become the Managing Director at Sciant, a European-based outsource provider with offices in Vietnam. He has been featured in many leading newspapers, including the Wall Street Journal. He is considered a domain expert in Vietnam’s technology sector.
