Mr. Mai is a trailblazing entrepreneur in Vietnam’s technology historical development. It is only fitting that he now occupies the Business Development Manager role at one of the world’s leading technology company, Intel.

His career in Vietnam began after he obtained B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois, focusing on process automation. Soon after, Mr. Mai returned to Vietnam and was one of the founders of Paragon Solutions and became its Country Manager in the early 1990s. Paragon Solutions was one of the first outsourcing companies in Vietnam. He later co-founded Vietnam.com , an e-commerce and online travel company then transitioned back into the outsourcing business when he co-founded and became the Managing Director of Pyramid Software Development, the Vietnam subsidiary of a US company. He was recruited away to become the Managing Director at Sciant, a European-based outsource provider with offices in Vietnam. He has been featured in many leading newspapers, including the Wall Street Journal. He is considered a domain expert in Vietnam’s technology sector.

Dan Tran

Dan Tran is the President of the Fidelity Lending Group, Inc. Dan was a founder and Vice President of Engineering at Haplotec Inc., a video processing company. Prior to that he worked in computer system architecture and was an Engineering Department Manager at UNISYS, a mainframe computer company. Dan was also an Engineering Manager for access communication and networking equipments at VINA Technologies. He was a Electrical Engineering Deparmental Scholar at UCLA and received his MSEE from Stanford University. Dan has seven US Patents in computer system design.

Anna Ly

She received her BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from UCLA, where she was also awarded the Outstanding Master of Science in Chemical Engineering prize in 2000 for her research on laser diagnostics in plasma gases. Anna is currently working for Microsemi, a high tech semiconductor company, in Garden Grove. She specializes in InP/GaAs HBT and CMOS & BiCMOS process development technologies.

Ly H.T. Pham
