Thanh currently works at a technology focused public relations firm in San Francisco. In this capacity she has garnered media coverage for top enterprise technology providers. Previous to her position in public relations she sold advertising space at Computerworld, a technology trade publication and web site. Ms. Tu graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University in 2002. While attending Tufts she founded and managed a shipping and storage company and also interned at a venture development firm.

Mr. Mai is a trailblazing entrepreneur in Vietnam’s technology historical development. It is only fitting that he now occupies the Business Development Manager role at one of the world’s leading technology company, Intel.

His career in Vietnam began after he obtained B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois, focusing on process automation. Soon after, Mr. Mai returned to Vietnam and was one of the founders of Paragon Solutions and became its Country Manager in the early 1990s. Paragon Solutions was one of the first outsourcing companies in Vietnam. He later co-founded Vietnam.com , an e-commerce and online travel company then transitioned back into the outsourcing business when he co-founded and became the Managing Director of Pyramid Software Development, the Vietnam subsidiary of a US company. He was recruited away to become the Managing Director at Sciant, a European-based outsource provider with offices in Vietnam. He has been featured in many leading newspapers, including the Wall Street Journal. He is considered a domain expert in Vietnam’s technology sector.

Dan Tran is the President of the Fidelity Lending Group, Inc. Dan was a founder and Vice President of Engineering at Haplotec Inc., a video processing company. Prior to that he worked in computer system architecture and was an Engineering Department Manager at UNISYS, a mainframe computer company. Dan was also an Engineering Manager for access communication and networking equipments at VINA Technologies. He was a Electrical Engineering Deparmental Scholar at UCLA and received his MSEE from Stanford University. Dan has seven US Patents in computer system design.

Anna is a resident of Huntington Beach. She received her BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from UCLA, where she was also awarded the Outstanding Master of Science in Chemical Engineering prize in 2000 for her research on laser diagnostics in plasma gases. Anna is currently working for Microsemi, a high tech semiconductor company, in Garden Grove. She specializes in InP/GaAs HBT and CMOS & BiCMOS process development technologies.

Bryan Ngo is a partner of Blue Capital Law Group LLP—an Orange County-based full-service law firm. Mr. Ngo represents real estate investors and developers in many aspects of real estate development: acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, formation of joint ventures to develop real property, financing and construction contracts. He also represents real estate investors and institutional lenders in complex real estate financings including revolving loans, construction loans, mezzanine and permanent financings.

After a Master in Physics at the Université de Paris [1969], I obtained an Engineer degree in Electronics at the Ecole Supérieure d’Electricité [1972] and completed a Computer System Design DESS from the IAE, Paris [1987].

With over twenty five years of system software management, consulting and entrepreneur experience, Ly currently serves as chief executive officer and founder of Mobiscale. Prior to Mobiscale, she was CEO at Bluekey Services Inc. and Turbolinux Inc., SVP at Cray Inc., COO at Onscreen24, CTO at Vtel corp, and held other senior management roles at Apple Computer Inc. and Wang Laboratories, Inc. She was a venture advisor to IDG VN, a venture fund investing in Vietnam and a director of Vietnamese Silicon Valley Network. She is a co-inventor of ten granted patents. Ly received a B.A. in Mathematics, an M.S. in Information Systems from Boston University, a Presidential/ Key Executive M.B.A. from Pepperdine University, and is currently enrolled in the Human and Organization Systems PhD program with Fielding Graduate University.

Yuric Hannart is the founder and CEO of Ontelix Networks. The company buils email server appliance to address the needs of Small to Medium Enterprises. Yuric has had over 15 years of experience in technology.

He specializes in Internet and wireless products and has held positions over the past ten years at Intuit, Netcom and Palm Wireless where he was involved at a senior level in marketing and business development. Many of the products he launched were the first in the industry. Yuric earned his undergraduated degree in Economics and Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Thuy T. Le is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at San Jose State University. Beside teaching activities, he currently serves as department graduate research advisor for digital area, director of Digital Interfacing Laboratory, coordinator of curriculum assessment and accreditation, and advisor of Vietnamese Engineering Student Association (VESA) at San Jose State University.

Chien Nguyen currently is the President and CEO of Acronics Systems, Inc. (www.acronics.com). Before founding Acronics, he was the Founder, President and CEO of Acropolis Systems, Inc.

Prior to Acropolis, he was the Vice President Engineering and a Co-Founder of Solflower Computers, Inc. Mr. Nguyen has over 25 years of experience in the Electronics and Computer industries, during which he held various positions in technical engineering and executive levels in corporate management.
