Debbie Nghiem

Debbie Nghiem was born in Saigon, Vietnam, and grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan, before making San Jose, California her home. She studies Business Finance, with an interest in real estate and demographics at San Jose State University. She has worked as a world wide purchasing/logistic planner in several high tech companies such as JDSU, Schlumberger and LTX where she had received several awards for reducing company operation costs. She is currently n account executive at Network PCB, with expertise in marketing, contract negotiations, and manufacturing. Debbie’s passion, however, lies in charity work for the Vietnamese community, helping the less fortunate, and creating opportunities to bring together the Vietnamese people through social and professional events to promote a supportive network of associates, friends, and resources. She has been a key contributor in such charity organization as Vietnamese American Professionals Alliance (VAPA), Aid to Children without Parent (ACWP), Asian Pacific in San Francisco, Mid Autumn Festival (MAF), VNhelp, Vietnamese Silicon Valley Network (VSVN), C&Y Club, to name just a few. She is currently Vice President of United Vietnamese Americans and Treasurer for Viet-American Cultural Foundation. These two organization are based in San Jose. Her other passions include cooking, bowling, roller skating, dancing, and playing the piano.
