The primary responsibilities of this position are the following:
Develop test plan, execute the tests, work cross-functionally to communicate testing results and resolve issues.
Design and create test scripts, test harnesses, programs, and/or drivers to run automated functional and regression tests.
Automate application UI testing using UI-based tools.
Requirements/Skills:
BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Several years of hands-on QA/Test Automation experience with commercial software.
Solid experience in Shell, Perl, Python, or other scripting languages.
Experience testing on both Microsoft Windows and Lunix environments.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Ability to work under pressure within the confines of short testing cycles.
Flexibility and agility are essential to this position.
