Thách Thức $20 Triệu is the business competition to find excellent and committed entrepreneurial teams who can execute their business plan to develop a business worth at least $20 million within 5 years. The team, or teams, judged most likely to successfully execute their plan will win the contest.
The company established by the winning team will receive a $400,000 investment and ongoing support from the investors, with the 5-year goal of achieving a company worth at least $20 million. The winning team will earn bonus shares in the company as they meet a series of benchmarks towards that $20 million goal, and can earn up to 50% of the company’s shares when they achieve the $20 million target within 5 years.
With the slogan “Start with an idea, achieve success by action”, the contest is looking for those with the execution, team-building and leadership skills to create a successful business. Unlike other business plan contests, we are more interested in the capabilities and achievements of the team, rather than any new and unusual business ideas.
Among 92 business plans submitted for the first Thách Thức $20 Triệu, a plan to develop a luxury fashion retail chain from Ms. Phan Hoang Mai and Ms. Trieu Thu Huong in Hanoi was announced as the winner in August 2007.

Early Submission - Participants at this stage may receive some feedback, and their business plan can be resubmitted by the Final Submission deadline.
04/15/2008:
Final Submission - Soft or hard copies of submitted business plans and “Acknowledgement Forms” must be sent by this date via one of the two ways:

06/15/2008:
Selection of Finalists - The top 5 business plans will be presented to the Judgment Board. The Judgment Board will select the winning business plan via the presentation and interviews with the top 5 teams.
08/2008:
Winner Announcement - The winning business plan will be announced on press releases, website www.20trieu.com and in other media.
